Back Door Deli was established on July 3, 1991 at 121 W Cedar Ave, in Gladwin Michigan. Owner Dennis Wiatr packed his bags and decided to take a chance on the rural community of Gladwin. Denny brought his extraordinary recipes, reasonable pricing and larger-than-life work ethic.
Now, almost 18 years later, Back Door Deli has an established base of regular clientele. Many of us have grown up with favorites, such as the ‘Super Sub‘, or any one of their fine salads or pizza varieties. Back Door Deli also offers many new items, such as homemade lasagna with garlic bread. Ask Denny about a ‘Ruben Pizza‘, or a ‘Coney Pizza‘?
